We are entering an exciting phase of growth in our Residential Aged Care portfolio, and we’re now seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to help lead our services into the next chapter of innovation, quality, and sustainable expansion.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager – Residential Aged Care will provide strategic and operational leadership across all My Guardian residential aged care facilities.
You will have end-to-end accountability for performance, clinical governance, compliance, and culture across our existing site, while also playing a key role in the development, integration, and growth of new facilities as our portfolio expands.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership across all residential aged care sites
Drive excellence in clinical governance, compliance, and quality outcomes
Oversee facility performance, budgets, workforce planning, and resourcing
Lead accreditation processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Play a key role in growth activities including new developments, acquisitions, tenders, and grants
Manage incidents, risks, and complaints with transparency and accountability
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, values-driven leadership team
Foster strong relationships with residents, families, regulators, and community stakeholders
Champion resident well-being, satisfaction, and personalised models of care
Essential Experience & Skills
Significant leadership experience in residential aged care or a related health sector
In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, and regulatory frameworks
Proven success in operational management, financial oversight, and workforce leadership
Demonstrated experience leading accreditation, governance, and incident management processes
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership skills
Experience leading service growth, new developments, acquisitions, or tender submissions
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Health Administration, or Business Management
AHPRA registration (if clinically qualified)
