About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Graduate Mining Engineer (2026 Graduate Intake) with a strong safety focus to join our Mining Department.
This opportunity is specifically suited to students graduating in 2026 with available commencement end of 2026 early 2027.
As a graduate, you will be provided with structured support, training, and mentoring to enhance your professional development, along with the opportunity to complete 12 months of underground operational experience.

Core responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, the responsibilities of this role will include:
· Underground operational experience including time on the load/haul fleet, service crew, charge crew and longhole drill.
· Assisting with optimisation of ore extraction through effective short and medium-term mine planning.
· Technical support to the operations in relation to short and long term mine planning and associated projects.
· Assisting with loose fill, cemented rock fill and paste fill designs.
· Conducting Mine ventilation surveys.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be in your final year of a Mining Engineering degree with an expected graduation in 2026, or have recently completed your degree and be available to commence in 2026. You will ideally have gained exposure to underground operations through student vacation programs, internships, or similar practical experience.
You will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and organisational skills. A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, along with a proactive and eager approach to learning, will be key to your success in this role.
