The Client & The Role
Our client is a family owned and operated company based on the north shore in Sydney, with around 300 staff across the group, including both corporate and site-based personnel.
We’re seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function and shape the next phase of the people and culture strategy. Reporting to the Executive Team, you’ll oversee all aspects of HR operations, leadership development, and employee engagement - ensuring all teams are supported, empowered and aligned with the company values.
Further Duties
- Lead, develop and implement people strategies that align with business goals
- Partner with operational and site leaders to build strong, engaged teams across corporate and on-site settings
- Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning and succession initiatives
- Drive leadership and professional development programs across all levels
- Champion a holistic approach to wellbeing, inclusion and performance
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, workplace safety and site-specific requirements
- Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to senior management
The Applicant
You’re an experienced HR professional with a passion for developing people and creating workplaces where everyone can thrive. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and understand the dynamics of working with both corporate and site-based teams.
You will bring:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner in a similar industry (construction, manufacturing, property development) working with on-site personnel
- Strong leadership and team development experience
- A holistic, people-centred approach to human resources and organisational culture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
- Sound knowledge of employment law, safety, and compliance frameworks
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field
As a Human Resources Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in shaping a company that truly values its people and purpose. Please note, that this is a January/February 2026 start.
