Baptistcare is one of Western Australia’s leading aged care providers - an organisation that prides itself on putting people at the heart of everything we do.
Our Home Care services enable seniors to live independently in their own homes, continuing to do what they love for as long as possible.
But it’s much more than just delivering practical assistance. It’s about enriching the lives of our customers, helping them remain connected to their community and enabling them to live full and meaningful lives. This means understanding what matters most to our customers and working together to ensure we deliver on this commitment every day.
In order to support our customers to live a meaningful life, we focus on finding people who share our Values. We are seeking a Support Worker to be a part of our home care services team.
We want people that share our Values of:
- Togetherness – Together we can achieve so much more
- Respect – Treat everyone the same way
- Accountability – You are responsible for what you do (and don’t do)
- Caring – Every person matters (including you)
- Integrity – Say what you mean (and mean what you say)
Ideally you will have previous experience working or possess qualifications in Community Services.
Ideally you will hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (previously known as Certificate III in Aged Care) or be working towards attaining one. Having the ability to communicate well and build relationships with people from many walks of life is essential as is being able to complete a busy workload and respond to changing priorities.
