Marketing and Communications Professionals
Hiring for 2 roles: Marketing Growth Lead & Marketing Specialist
- Flexible. Strategic. Embedded partnership roles.
- Brisbane-based hybrid opportunity (WFH and work with a partner)
- Helping purpose-driven organisations grow with clarity and impact
About Wild Hive
Wild Hive is a national collective of marketing, communications, media and fundraising specialists working across Australia in a virtually integrated model - collaborative, strategic and hands-on.
We partner primarily with purpose-led organisations, embedding experienced, high-performing teams to help them clarify their message, strengthen their brand and grow their impact.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for two new Brisbane-based team members: an experienced and strategically-driven Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, and a capable and confident Marketing & Communications Specialist, to support a growing portfolio of Brisbane-based clients through a hybrid working model.
These roles combine strategic onsite collaboration with flexible remote work, embedding into client environments while also operating as part of the wider Wild Hive team.
You will work both independently and alongside our national specialist team.
You’ll bring clarity and cohesion to marketing activity while ensuring day-to-day delivery is sharp, timely and aligned.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies
- Translating strategy into clear action plans and deliverables
- Managing multi-channel campaigns (EDMs, social, web, print, media)
- Writing and overseeing compelling content for diverse audiences
- Coordinating digital, brand and creative initiatives
- Managing internal and external relationships and communications
- Supporting event promotion and delivery (lectures, conferences, open days)
- Tracking performance and reporting on marketing impact and outcomes and providing regular updates to key stakeholders
- Building strong internal relationships across the Wild Hive specialist bench
As the strategic marketing leader you will be the person that connects the dots between strategy, story and execution.
About You
You’re organised, proactive and take pride in delivering work at a high standard. You enjoy variety and can move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
You’re confident working autonomously but value collaboration. You bring energy, accountability and calm under pressure.
You will bring:
- Experience in marketing and communications roles (for the fractional CMO role, you will have experience managing marketing teams and projects)
- Strong writing and content development skills
- Experience managing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- An understanding of brand positioning and audience engagement
- Solid organisational and project management capability
- The ability to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships
- An understanding of the Christian not-for-profit sector and alignment with Christian ethos and values
Why This Role?
This is a Brisbane-based hybrid role, giving you the flexibility to split your time between on-site engagement and working from home. Both positions are 2 to 4 days per week (subject to the right people) and designed to offer genuine flexibility to fit around family, and other work engagements.
Marketing and Communications Specialist: 3-4 days per week
Executive Marketing Lead: 2-3 days per week
You’ll be supported by a national team of experienced Wild Hive specialists, while also having real ownership in your role — with the scope to shape outcomes, influence direction and contribute to work that is deeply aligned with Christian faith and purpose.
If you’re looking for a role where your skills matter and your faith and work can align, we’d love to speak with you.
