Today LSV is a multifaceted volunteer-based community organisation with a focus on public safety and community wellbeing. Our volunteers, members, employees and partners work together with communities, educational institutions, government agencies, businesses and the broader aquatic industry, to Save lives and empower communities to safely enjoy water.   About the roleThis is a full-time (1.0FTE), ongoing position based at our Port Melbourne office, with hybrid working arrangements (3 days in office, 2 days WFH).  As the Officer – Stakeholder Engagement, you will support the effective governance, stakeholder engagement and communication across the Emergency Management Capability and Response (EMCaR) team. The role acts as a key liason between lifesaving clubs, councils and internal stakeholders to ensure clear information flow, support governance requirements and enable delivery of operational priorities.  Additionally, you will:Coordinate stakeholder communications and information sharing, ensuring key partners are informed and engagedCoordinate meetings, prepare reports and track actions to ensure successful outcomesSupport engagement with councils and committees, helping to strengthen partnerships and deliver key initiatives Provide executive and administrative support to senior leaders and key governance groupsMaintain accurate records, reports and governance documentation to support accountability and informed decision-makingContribute to continuous improvement of processes related to stakeholder engagement, governance and communicationAbout you You are a highly organised and proactive professional who enjoys building strong relationships, coordinating competing priorities and supporting effective governance outcomes.
