What You’ll Do

  • Leading the development and implementation of smart operating surveillance systems to ensure the plant runs efficiently, reliably, and safely - always meeting engineering best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Setting and maintaining high standards for plant operation to maximise efficiency while meeting the demands of the National Electricity Market
  • Taking ownership of outage commissioning plans, coordinating communication, testing, and return-to-service activities to maintain plant reliability
  • Investigating complex plant issues with expert analysis, developing practical solutions, and supporting plant modifications to improve performance and reliability
  • Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators such as thermal efficiency, reliability, and availability to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborating with teams across the business to review, update, and improve operating procedures for enhanced safety, reliability, and efficiency
  • Overseeing routine testing procedures to maintain the reliability of plant equipment and protective devices

What You’ll Bring
