Pinegrove Feedlot houses the company’s shortfed and Angus programs, with an environment committed to recognition, teamwork, retention, safety, and employee development. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Pen Rider with Mort & Co you will work as part of a close knit team, undertaking a wide variety of livestock work, including the following key responsibilities:Pen riding, livestock movements, drafting, induction, processing and hospital treatmentsUndertaking reporting and maintaining accurate record keeping using specialist feedlot systemsEnsuring that cattle health, wellbeing, and performance are thoroughly monitored each day in an efficient manner and in accordance with company protocols and proceduresEnsure all livestock operations are performed safely and in accordance with company workplace health and safety requirements, policy, procedure, compliance, and regulatory requirementsGeneral maintenance of all feedlot sites and facilities ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role you will have a keen Interest in working with livestock and growing a career in livestock operations. ABOUT THE ROLE
