How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

  • Design and analyse fluid and mechanical components/subsystems for hybrid and liquid rocket engines
  • Develop CAD models and drawings of test stands and rocket engine components
  • Formulate hardware test plans, support test campaigns, and evaluate experimental test results
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analyses
  • Assist/lead qualification tests of propulsion components/subsystems
  • Develop written procedures and checklist for performing test operations
  • Guide the development of written procedures for manufacturing components
  • Coordinate the fabrication, assembly and integration of propulsion system elements
  • Support launch preparations and launch operations, as needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by Management

Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors (BS) degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in propulsion, mechanical, fluid system design and analysis in a professional setting (excluding internships)
  • 3+ years’ experience with CAD designing parts and assemblies
