Job Summary: The Raw Material Quality Associate will be responsible for coordinating the release of all incoming cannabis and non-cannabis raw materials in accordance with GPP/GMP.
Responsibilities:
· Completes incoming receiving and inspection for all incoming materials for production.
· Confirms incoming cannabis and non cannabis raw material shipments.
· Perform inspection, and verify received raw materials
· Review incoming raw material cannabis certificate of analysis to confirm specification, review and complete release package, confirm and release material.
· Review Incoming Raw Material non- cannabis Certificate of Analysis or certificate conformance to confirm Specification, confirm release package, release as per specification
· Samples raw material and cannabis as per material specification for further QC testing and retention samples.
· Review and update raw material release records, logbooks and various SOPs
· File receiving records
· Work as part of the Quality team promoting a quality culture within the company
· Perform detailed documentation of inspection results and ensure that all documentations are in accordance with GPP/GMP
· Aid in performing ongoing investigations, and other unique projects
· Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
· Adheres to safety rules and procedures
· Provide timely and accurate information, reports and documentation as required
· Other quality tasks as necessary
Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in science related field
· Minimum of 2 years experience in raw material testing and releasing
· Experience in technical writing
· Excellent time management skills with ability to work under minimal supervision
· Able to work in fast paced environment
· Experience of working in a GMP environment
· Raw material receiving and inspection
· Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Excel
