Summary:

The Quality Control Technician will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results.

 Responsibilities:

  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the Production Manager
  • Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
  • Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
  • Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
  • Preventative Maintenance - keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs, and completing necessary documentation
  • Provide timely and accurate information, reports and documentation as required

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in raw material testing and releasing
  • Experience in technical writing
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Competent data analysis and data management skills
  • Experience in OOS(out of specification) investigation
  • Excellent knowledge of GC (Gas Chromatography) and HPLC(High Performance Liquid Chromatography)
