Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture Pty Ltd, is Australia’s largest Tin producer. Bluestone is a well-established, high yield tin producer with a strong resource base supporting a mine life in excess of 10 years. The Renison mine is located on Tasmania’s beautiful West Coast between the towns of Zeehan and Rosebery.

It is an exciting time at Renison with a robust "Life of Mine Plan" and ongoing capital reinvestment program designed to deliver substantial health, safety, environmental, and efficiency improvements across the operation. About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a safety professional who is wanting to take the next step in their career. Reporting to the Health and Safety Superintendent you will be providing support to the HSE department and broader site. The role will include administration of the safety data management system (INX), assisting in promoting a positive health and safety culture and monitoring the level of compliance across all work areas on site, administering and control of the site document management system.
There is some flexibility with roster arrangements for this position.
Core responsibilities
- INX Administrator for site
- Report on status of events and actions in the Safety Management System
- Provide INX training and support to all personnel.
- Assume administrative control of the online LMS system including the induction process
- Provide support to the administration of the Site Access System
- Provide health and safety support to the operation
- Analysis of safety data and reporting findings
- Conducts audits, reviews and quality assurance activities
- Proficiency in the use of the Safety and Training Data Management System INX InControl, InTuition and INX Moodle
- Be proficient in the use of the Site Access System (Gallagher).
- Assume administrative control of all documents generated as part of the site document management system accessible from the BMTJV Sharepoint
About you
You will be passionate about promoting a positive health and safety culture. You will have a tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent, as a minimum Cert IV in WHS.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, which allows you to build relationships across departments and to communicate at all levels.
