The plant repurposes manure to supply sustainable, industry leading products to all types of Australian farms.ABOUT THE ROLEWe currently have an opportunity to Join the Mort & Co Fertiliser team in the newly created position of Sales Agronomist (Central Queensland). This permanent full-time role will be remotely based to service the customer base offering flexibility in work location. The Key responsibilities are:Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.Ensuring products and services to meet customer needs, and maintain relationships with clientsMonitor customer satisfaction and gather feedback to improve service quality.Analysing market trends and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.Providing agronomic support to farmers and agribusiness that converts into sales including:Providing technical advice and support on crop management, soil health and fertilisation.Conducting field visits and assessments to diagnose crop issues and recommend solutions.Organising and conducting training sessions, workshops, and field demonstrations.ABOUT YOUThe key criteria for this position include:A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience including a minimum three years’ of experience in agronomy or agricultural sales.Strong knowledge of crop management practices and agricultural products.Proven track record of sales and market penetration.
