If you've worked in aged care or NDIS scheduling and you're looking for a role where your experience is genuinely valued, read on.

About Us
Curtin Heritage Living is a respected not-for-profit organisation that has been delivering high-quality aged care across Perth's Western Suburbs for over 45 years. We provide in-home services across the Perth metropolitan area, alongside residential care and independent living options.

Our in-home services team is based in a beautifully refurbished heritage building with ocean views in Cottesloe — a workspace that's as inspiring as the work we do.

The Role
As our Scheduler – In-Home Services, you'll coordinate the daily delivery of care to clients in their homes across Support at Home, CHSP, Fee for Service, VHC/DVA and Brokerage programs. You'll work on a rotating full-time roster covering shifts of either 6:30 am – 2:30 pm or 10:30 am – 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

This role sits at the intersection of client needs, workforce availability, and operational efficiency. You'll:

  • Build, monitor, and maintain client and staff rosters with accuracy and efficiency across multiple service streams
  • Respond swiftly to daily changes that include cancellations, staff absences, and urgent client needs whilst keeping service delivery on track
  • Work closely with Care Partners, Team Leaders, and Clinical staff to ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality care
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client and workforce records within our care management system
  • Apply your knowledge of the SCHADS Award (or relevant industrial instruments) to ensure rosters are compliant
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, families, in-home carers, and the broader in-home services team
  • Support the team through ongoing sector changes, including the transition to the Support at Home program

What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who brings real scheduling experience and the resilience to manage a role that demands constant adaptability:

  • Previous scheduling experience in aged care, community services, or acute care — this is essential
  • Comfort with fast-paced, high-change environments — you can reprioritise quickly, stay calm under pressure, and problem-solve on the fly
  • Strong knowledge of or willingness to quickly learn aged care rostering systems (experience with Nightingale, AlayaCare, Procura, or similar platforms is an advantage)
  • Understanding of the SCHADS Award or similar industrial award conditions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you'll be liaising with clients, families, support workers, and internal teams daily
  • Strong organisational skills with a meticulous eye for detail
  • A genuine commitment to supporting older Australians to live well at home
  • Current National Police Clearance (within three years)
  • Australian citizenship or valid visa with full working rights

Ready to Apply?
If you're an experienced scheduler who's ready to bring your skills to a team that values what you do, we'd love to hear from you.

Submit your resume and a cover letter that clearly outlines your relevant scheduling experience and suitability for this role. Applications without a tailored cover letter addressing your experience will not be progressed.
