About the Role:
You will be responsible for:
- Administration of Data Action’s ServiceNow hosted SaaS environments
- Monitor system health and managing platform upgrades, development, QA, and production environments
- Understanding and awareness of system dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable
- Organise and Manage development efforts, including design, testing, migrations, etc.; interfacing with vendors, users, and management as necessary
- Tool capability/functionality extension using JavaScript and other techniques as needed to tailor ServiceNow to meet Data Action’s requirements
- Assist in gathering and/or reviewing process requirements and assisting on how they map to ServiceNow, driving platform expansion and adoption
- Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end automated solutions which includes technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, workflow customisation, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configurations
About you:
We are after a fantastic individual who has the following skills and attributes:
- Experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and development of ServiceNow core modules.
- Working or developing in any one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, PHP, CSS, Java, Perl, HTML or HTML 5
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical subject matter to a non-technical audience. Strong inter-personal skills in a diverse cultural environment
- Strong customer service skills and demonstrated interest in continuous improvement
We are not after someone who has X amount of years of experience, we are instead interested in an individual who is capable, adaptable, accountable and takes real ownership over the role.
