We are now looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team.  This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for checking and receiving all deliveries and ensuring all products and goods are promptly received and stored in the warehouse correctly.

  • Receive, unload and place all incoming warehouse deliveries appropriately
  • Organize warehouse space keeping area clean and tidy – moving pallets as required
  • Organize stock as well as track and maintain inventory supplies and records
  • Inspect all incoming packages/products for defects and damages
  • Compare bills of lading with actual good received
  • Operate forklift truck
  • Adhere and follow SOPs
  • Follow health and safety policies
  • Work as part of the warehouse team, collaborating and suggesting ways to improve warehouse procedures and practices 

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in shipping/receiving preferably within pharmaceutical or food production environment is preferable
  • Current forklift operator licence
  • Knowledge of GMP is considered an asset
  • Good computer skills, confident with Excel and Word, additional experience using inventory software is preferable
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and also be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Physically fit as some lifting and moving product/equipment is required
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
