There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.Fabricate, assemble, and install components and structures for rocket systems to meet engineering specifications.Apply mechanical aptitude and creative problem-solving to align and assemble components and subassemblies efficiently.Identify and troubleshoot challenges during fabrication and assembly, developing practical solutions to ensure production goals are met.Conduct inspections and measurements to verify accuracy and alignment of components against specifications.Prepare and treat surfaces, including cleaning, sealing, and finishing, to meet quality and performance standards.Install fasteners and other hardware with precision, ensuring compliance with technical documentation.Work with a variety of tools, machinery, and techniques to perform tasks effectively, adapting to production demands and constraints.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing ideas to enhance production processes.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and safety standards.Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and quality assurance.Document processes and activities as required to ensure traceability and compliance with Gilmour Space standards.Perform additional duties as directed by management.Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Certificate III trade qualification in Aerospace, Fitting, Fabrication, Production, or a related high-end trade.3+ years of experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or other high-end environments.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a strong ability to understand how systems and components function.Eligibility for NV1 Security Clearance.Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.
