Job Summary:  The Supply Chain Planning Analyst ensures availability of products and materials while optimizing key supply chain metrics.  You will build and utilize business tools and models to derive replenishment parameters that align with production schedules and maximize service levels while working within budgets. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize inventory levels relating to production inputs and packaging components
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to interpret production schedules and demand forecasts, to determine supply planning requirements relating to raw material, consumables, packaging, and other parts and components
  • Drive inventory efficiencies and working capital productivity (turns) through accurate forecasting, replenishment optimization, and supplier collaboration
  • Provide full visibility of supply chain business performance indicators and build new capability through the design and creation of standardized/ad-hoc reporting
  • Track, provide visibility, and optimize supply chain metrics relating to service levels, fill rate, weeks of supply (WOS), turns, out of stocks (OOS), and aged/obsolete inventory

  • Ensure inventory software systems (ERP) are maintained and up to date
  • Work closely with demand forecasts and production schedules to gain a clear understanding of material requirements and timing
  • Utilize continuous improvement methods to enhance accuracy and reliability of supply chain planning processes, forecasting, tools, and reporting to support organizational goals 

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a pharmaceutical, health care, or manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in material requirements planning (MRP), supply chain analysis, replenishment, inventory management, or demand planning
  • Educated in business, finance, supply chain management, or logistics
  • Experience operating within a highly regulated industry
  • Excellent organization skills, along with written and verbal communication
  • Detail oriented and a strong problem solver
  • Able to work within a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Solid judgement along with excellent decision-making skills
  • Ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data, and derive meaningful insights
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficient in ERP and Business Intelligence applications (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau)
  • SCMP or similar designation is considered an asset
