Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Support full-cycle recruitment strategies focusing on attracting, and hiring across all areas of the company
  • Source top candidates utilizing various sourcing methods (i.e. referrals, online searches, social media platforms, job/career fairs, local universities, technical /vocational schools, networking, etc.) to develop candidate pipelines
  • Conduct formalized selection/interview process and in-depth candidate screenings, using assessment tools while setting appropriate expectations for both candidates and hiring managers
  • Conduct reference checks and validate certifications and licenses
  • Create offers of employment and negotiate terms as required
  • Assist in the on-going development of creative recruitment strategies with a focus on expanding social media sites and talent acquisition technology platforms for sourcing, interviewing and candidate relationship management
  • Effectively build and engage talent communities through involvement and participation in community events, job/career fairs, conferences and industry events
  • Responsible for developing various projects related to human resources, talent management and recruitment retention efforts
  • Ensure the hiring process complies with company policies/procedures, employment laws, and related regulations
  • Support the Human Resources team with any additional administrative needs, such as booking of internal events, arrangements for new hire on-boarding, etc

Skills and Experience:

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or other relevant discipline is preferable
  • 1 + recruitment experience in a high volume, diversified setting, preferably with experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing
  • Previous experience working with applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and professional skills to effectively interact with others at all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated service excellence approach and commitment to continuous quality improvement and performance measurement
  • Excellent communication skills; critical thinking, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources metrics and strong analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Discreet, able to handle confidential and proprietary information appropriately
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.
