Opal Cartons Australia is excited to be able to offer an opportunity for a Storeperson to work at our brand new Moorebank site.
The primary objective of this role is to work with our warehouse team to ensure supplies of materials and finished goods are available within required timeframes and contribute to the warehouse operating effectively and to maximum efficiency.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Picking, staging, and distribution of finished goods, raw materials, and consumables
- Processing inbound and outbound orders, including unpacking containers, palletising, and stretch wrapping for put away
- Maintaining stock integrity through RF scanning, daily cycle counting, and stock take participation
- Goods receipting into SAP, generating labels for imported goods, and inspecting incoming materials against orders to ensure quality and accuracy
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely and efficiently while adhering to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Booking materials into SAP to maintain stock levels and ensure continuous production
- Operating equipment safely, including performing pre-operational checks and adhering to site speed limits

About you….
This is an exciting time to join the Opal team as we continue to lead and grow as a packaging solution provider.
For this role we expect you will have:
- Experience working in a high-volume warehouse and distribution environment
- Both an LF and LO forklift license and also a current high risk work license
- A personal commitment to "Zero Harm" and a thorough understanding of WH&S and CoR requirements
- Knowledge of inventory management, RF scanners, and ideally some previous experience working with SAP WMS
- Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to work constructively in a team and follow instructions concisely
- The ability to work unsupervised, solve problems, and a proven track record of delivering quality results and supporting continuous improvement processes
