The new  first stage of this development will be completed by the end of 2021.About the role:We are looking for an experienced Accountant to assist our Finance manager with management accounting and finance reporting processes, including:Coordination of accounts payable processes.Management of resident billing and accounts receivable processes.Completion of bank and funding reconciliations.Participation in budgeting and forecast processes.Completion of monthly accruals, account journals and reconciliations, fixed assets and depreciation schedules.Preparation of superannuation and salary sacrifice files.Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss, cash flow, balance sheet and internal management reports.The role is initially a part-time, 12-month contract.The successful candidate will have:Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or finance.CPA, CA or equivalent.At least five years’ experience working in an accounting role, ideally in aged care.Attention to detail and well developed written skills.A passion for working with our residents and their families.High degree of computer literacy.Work rights in Australia.National police clearance.Annual influenza vaccination.You will benefit from:The opportunity to work part-time, flexible hours that would suite someone wanting to work school hours.A fantastic beachside work environment.A collaborative culture and a great team.Generous renumeration package, including salary packaging.
