The Client
Our client is extremely well established with beautiful offices in the heart of Brisbane. They provide excellent training and development opportunities along with progression into a partner role in the future.
The Role
Continuously experiencing growth, this company is now looking to take on a Manager or Senior Manager in their Forensic Accounting team. Take charge of the team and be responsible for exciting projects and their outcomes.
The Duties
- Apply tax law knowledge as well as knowledge of financial practices
- Work closely with law enforcement officers and agencies
- Advise on a broad range of forensic accounting engagements, including business valuations, commercial loss and damage claims, insurance events and accounting reviews and investigations
- Build and maintain beneficial stakeholder relationships
- Detailed review and analysis of the financial performance of businesses
- Be responsible for the management and day-to-day running of engagements
- Business development and practice management as well as provide coaching, mentoring and training opportunities to other team members
The Applicant
- Experience in Forensic Accounting, ideally in a public practice environment
- A university degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance or similar)
- CA, CPA or CFA qualification in place
- Strong research capabilities and ability to think critically
- Analytical mindset and self-motivation
- Exceptional communication skills as well as investigative skills are important for this opportunity
