The Renison mine is located on Tasmania’s beautiful West Coast between the towns of Zeehan and Rosebery.

About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and confident Contracts Admin / Supply Officer who represent the company as a front-line delegate to suppliers and be responsible for negotiating contract terms and conditions between various parties.
The roster will be 5 days on 2 days off with the option of an IFA (5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off) located at our Burnie office reporting to the Contracts, Shipping and Procurement Manager.
Core responsibilities
- Support all procurement functions incl. sourcing of goods, stocked inventory re-ordering, direct purchase requisition approval & conversion, urgent & non-urgent logistics, purchase order amendments & supplier inquiries, review & approve quotes for repairable stock items.
- Accountable in preparing all supply base tenders, reviewing and providing a recommendation to award.
- Support buying by placing orders with our supplier(s) to ensure that the specified quantities of products are available for delivery in quantities, at the correct specifications, in time, and at prices agreed upon between them.
- Sharing and clarifying contract processes, conditions and details with management, business partners and employees.
- Maintain files for contracts containing original contracts, relevant correspondence, amendments, clarifications and payment schedules.
- Support the Manager Contracts and liaising with staff on all levels of the company to analyse and determine a comprehensive contract strategy.
About you
The ideal candidate for this position will bring a wealth of experience in contracts administration or a similar role.
The role also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration is key, and the candidate should be adept at working within cross-functional teams within the mining company.
Strong organisational abilities are crucial to managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate records whilst upholding ethical standards and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive financial information is a non-negotiable commitment.
A national criminal police check is required for this role.
