This is a new role that enable you to have a significant say in the management of care, hospitality services, and facility amenities on site. The role would suit an experienced professional looking to make a real difference to others, without the bureaucracy and red tape of larger aged care operators. The opportunity:You will work closely with our management team to manage our RiverSea Mosman Park home. You will:Lead site-based staff in the delivery of care and hospitality services in collaboration with residents and their representatives.Act as a primary advocate, and key contact, for the resident and their representatives.Act as the site-based leader and a primary resource for the site team.Ensure operational efficiency of the facility through the utilisation of resources in a viable and sustainable manner, including maximising income and occupancy with quality outcomes achieved.Act as a key member of the wider management team and actively contribute to organisational strategy, planning and implementation.Although RiverSea Mosman Park is small, you will be well supported by a dedicated team who are regularly onsite:Head of Care and Lifestyle who is responsible for the overall management of care services.Head of Operations who is responsible for the overall management of catering, cleaning, laundry, maintenance, and information systems.Quality and Governance Manager who is responsible for quality and audit processes.Education Coordinator and Care Support Coordinator who are responsible for education and on-site training.Human Resource Coordinator who is responsible for staff recruitment and the coordination of our credentialling, performance management and wellness program.Administration Manager and Roster Clerk who is responsible for rostering and payroll.Client Liaison who is responsible for admissions and additional services.Funding Coordinator who is responsible for funding and claims processes.Onsite catering staff who report to the Food Services Manager.Onsite maintenance and gardening staff who report to the Maintenance Coordinator.Onsite cleaning and laundry staff who report to the Housekeeping Coordinator.The position can be full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE), depending on your needs, and will report directly to the head of care and lifestyle. What you will bring:As key member of our team, you will bring:Experience working in a residential environment in aged care, disability, or social services.Extensive experience working in a direct client facing role, ideally as a nurse or allied health professional.Demonstrated experience leading teams.Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Computer literacy.
