About the roleWe have an opportunity for experienced Chef to join our Tjilipi Pampaku Ngura Flexible Aged Care facility located in the remote community of Kaltukatjara (Docker River, NT). This busy and rewarding role is offered on a FIFO, permanent, full-time basis.  Kaltukatjara is a remote indigenous community located 725kms southwest of Alice Springs. The population in the community is around 380 people. Tjilipi Pampaku Ngura Flexible Care (meaning "old man old lady home") currently houses 19 residents and we also provide services to clients in the community.The role of Chef will involve the preparation of all meals from Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and snacks, ensuring that all the residents dietary requirements are met. This role is offered on a FIFO basis of 10 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Flights in and out to the nearest capital city, all meals and accommodation is included in your remuneration package (when on site/shift only).This opportunity will suit a committed person who has care and compassion and enjoys interacting with our aged care residents.
