The Role

The Duties

  • Perform audits in line with Australian standards and stay up to date with technical knowledge and standards
  • Assist the Audit Managers and the Internal Audit team in delivering fit for purpose outcomes on audit and non-audit activities
  • Monitor reviews on remediation actions and follow-up as necessary to ensure they have been effectively addressed
  • Contribute to the development of the annual risk-based audit plan to ensure the plan is relevant to the needs of the business
  • Prepare Internal Audit reports and Audit committee papers
  • Identify and assess appropriateness & effectiveness of audit processes

 

The Applicant

  • Ideally 2-4+ years’ experience in an Internal Auditing role
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields
  • CA/CPA qualification in place or in the process of obtaining
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
