We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join the team at our site in Rocklea (QLD). This includes but is not limited to:The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, installations and corrective tasks of machinery and equipmentPlay a key role within a team focused on the development and execution of efficient preventative maintenance practices on the site.The timely action and satisfactory completion of preventative maintenance work as directed.Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Production teams.Where required, assist with root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions for repetitive failures and attending to machine breakdownsAssist with ordering components from external suppliers as necessary with appropriate approval.Respond to specific requests regarding the details of repair and/or maintenance to equipment on a technical basis. The successful candidate will have the ability to demonstrate strong fault finding and communication skills and have the ability to problem solve and show initiative.
