Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute internal controls over financial reporting as required by NI 52-109
  • Preparation of short term and long term of Cash Flow projections
  • Collaborate with investor relations, legal, controller and strategic finance on external stakeholder financial communications
  • Additional responsibilities include preparation and roll-out of special projects as they arise (eg. implementation of new accounting and reporting systems, enhancement of SAP functionality)

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years combined experience between public practice and industry experience at a publicly traded company
  • Big 4 experience required
  • Thorough knowledge of IFRS; as well as continuous disclosure requirements
  • Superior knowledge of Excel and analytical reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
  • Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with all levels of the organization
  • Strong ethical compass in all business decision-making and interpersonal relationships
  • Motivated by a rapid business tempo and a desire to build a strong international company with a pristine reputation
  • Ability to operate strategically and/or operationally, as the situation requires
  • Manufacturing experience is considered an asset
