About the roleDue to ongoing growth, our OSD Infrastructure Services team is looking for an experienced National Operations Manager with a wealth of experience, predominantly in the Oil and Gas industry.Key Responsibilities Reporting to the General Manager Infrastructure Services, this is a busy and varied role where you will need to have a keen eye for detail and be able to multi-task with ease. Responsibilities include:The position is the Responsible Operator as required under the Petroleum and Gas (Production and Safety) Act 2004 and will assume the relevant responsibilities under the Act.Managing the operation and maintenance of the pipeline assets to achieve OSD operational and business objectives with emphasis on safety, security of supply, budget performance, and regulatory and contract compliance.Leadership and direction of the operations teams, providing clear guidance on objectives and managing team performance.Ensuring that all aspects of emergency and crisis preparedness and response is managed and fully understood by all staff, stakeholders and senior management.Ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, pipeline licenses conditions as well as OSD policy and procedures.Managing OSD O&M contracts to ensure the agreed targets are achieved and client expectations are met.Participation and support of risk assessment and associated workshops.Development of tenders, proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports as required.About You The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently win and run projects as well as lead and oversee the development of a growing team.
