There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:Receive all incoming goods and materials, verify them for accuracy and condition, and document them in the inventory management system.Collaborate with your supervisor/lead to ensure smooth daily operations.Confirm received materials match accompanying documentation, inspecting for damage, and ensuring part numbers and quantities are correct.Create accurate shipping documents, packing slips, and labels following Gilmour Space’s dispatch procedures.File and maintain shipping records as per company guidelines.Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.Practice safe material handling procedures and follow business best practices.Store parts and materials in designated bins, drawers, and racks, ensuring proper labelling and tracking.Update the inventory management system promptly and accurately.Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as per safety procedures.Maintain a clean and organized workspace.Coordinate internal pickups and deliveries as needed.Pick materials and parts to assemble kits, ensuring all components are accounted for.Willingness to learn and assist in other team roles, including operating machinery like the Water Jet Cutter, Guillotine, and Bandsaw.Other duties as requested by ManagementMandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Experience in shipping, receiving, and/or inventory controlCurrent Forklift LicenceNV1 Security Clearance eligible preferredDesired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.
